How to win every mode in Arena Blast — win conditions, tactics & the best fighters
Arena Blast has nine core game modes, and each one rewards a different playstyle. A fighter who dominates a 1-life Battle Royale can flounder in a respawn-heavy Deathmatch, and the right Super timing changes completely between holding an objective and surviving an endless Horde. This guide breaks down every mode: what you need to do to win, the tactics that actually move the needle, and which of the 10 fighters suit it best.
New to the controls? Start with the How to Play guide. Want the fighters ranked head-to-head? See the Tier List. Then jump into a mode below.
Win condition: Be the last fighter standing. You and nine others drop in with a single life while a toxic storm slowly closes the arena.
Tactics
You only have one life, so early aggression is a trap. Let the reckless players trade blows and eliminate each other first.
Pick up power-ups and energy cubes on your way to the center — a charged Super waiting for the final 1v2 wins games.
As the arena shrinks, position between two fights rather than in the middle of one, so you can clean up whoever survives.
Best fighters:Medika (out-of-combat regen keeps you topped up between fights), Rocco (pick off weakened players from range), Zippy (mobility to dodge the storm and reposition).
☢️Royale100 players · 1 life
Win condition: Survive to #1 on a giant map with 100 fighters, one life each, and an aggressive toxic storm forcing everyone together.
Tactics
Drop toward the edge, not the busy center — early fights in a 100-player lobby are pure chaos and a coin flip.
Watch the safe circle on the minimap and move early. Getting caught in the storm chips 25+ HP and hands kills to campers waiting at the edge.
Late game, the storm packs survivors into a tiny ring — this is where wide-area Supers win. Save yours for the final cluster.
Best fighters:Rocco and Nia (long range punishes players fleeing the storm), Brasa or Bolt (area Supers clear the packed endgame).
💎Gem RushObjective
Win condition: Collect 10 gems and hold them for a 10-second countdown. Get knocked out and you drop your gems for everyone to grab.
Tactics
Don't grab the 10th gem the moment you can — carrying the lead paints a target on you. Sit on 7–8 and let someone else trigger the countdown first, then contest.
When you are the carrier, play defensively: break line of sight, hug cover, and burn your Super to survive the final seconds, not to score kills.
Comeback rule: when a player is close to winning, gems spawn faster — so a wipe of the leader can swing the whole match. Never give up a losing gem count.
Best fighters:Frost (Frost Ring's shield protects the carrier through the countdown), Tanko (huge HP pool to hold gems under fire), Medika (self-heal resets a contested finish).
🤝3v3 Team Battle3 vs 3
Win condition: You and two allies against an enemy team — coordinate to wipe them out. There are no respawns: once you are down you stay down, so the team that trades better wins.
Tactics
Stay grouped. A 3v2 is almost always a win, so focus one target down together rather than spreading into three separate duels.
Stagger your Supers — don't blow all three on the same push. Hold one in reserve to punish the enemy's counter-attack.
Peel for your fragile damage dealers: if the enemy dives your sniper, turn and trade so they can keep firing.
Best team: a frontline Tanko to soak damage, Medika for sustain, and a ranged threat like Nia or Frost to control the fight.
👑King of the HillObjective
Win condition: Hold the central ring uncontested until your control bar fills. If an enemy steps inside, the ring shows ⚔️ and your bar freezes until you clear them out.
Tactics
You don't win by kills — you win by time on point. Sometimes the right play is to knock an enemy out of the ring, not chase them across the map.
Fight from the center outward. Standing on the point while trading is better than winning a duel two screens away while your bar sits frozen.
Area-denial Supers are gold here: drop one on the ring to force enemies out and unfreeze your progress.
Best fighters:Frost (Frost Ring clears the point and shields you on it), Tanko (out-tanks anyone trying to contest), Medika (regenerates through the pressure of holding).
🌊HordeSurvival · waves
Win condition: Survive endless waves of respawning enemies and reach 20 knockouts without dying. One death ends the run.
Tactics
Never get surrounded. Kite the wave in a wide circle so enemies line up behind you instead of collapsing from all sides.
Funnel enemies through gaps and breakable walls so your shots (and Super) hit several at once.
Because kill rewards scale with your total knockouts, a clean 20-KO Horde run pays out far more coins than most modes — patience literally pays.
Best fighters:Medika (regen + self-heal Super make her the premier survival pick), Bolt (Lightning Nova clears a crowd), Brasa and Nia (Fire Nova and Piercing Shot delete stacked-up waves).
💀DeathmatchFree-for-all · 90s
Win condition: Score the most knockouts in 90 seconds of free-for-all respawn combat. A live Top-3 leaderboard shows who's ahead.
Tactics
Dying barely costs you — a fast respawn beats playing scared. Trade aggressively and keep your kill count climbing.
Hunt the low-health fighters, not full-health duels. Third-partying two players who are already fighting is the fastest way to rack up KOs.
Watch the Top-3: if you're chasing the lead in the final seconds, prioritise guaranteed finishes over risky engages.
Best fighters:Sombra (fast burst to clean up weakened targets), Rocco and Brasa (high burst damage), Zippy (speed to reach every fresh fight first).
🏆Tournament1v1 · 3 rounds
Win condition: Win three 1v1 duels in a row, with a tougher opponent each round. Lose one and the run ends.
Tactics
It's pure dueling — no third parties, no objectives. Fundamentals win: keep moving, don't waste shots, and only commit your Super when it's guaranteed to land.
Learn to bait the enemy Super, dodge it, then punish the cooldown window while they can't retaliate.
Manage your health across rounds mentally — there's no reset, so a clean early round sets up the harder finale.
Best fighters:Rocco (the strongest all-round duelist — tanky and high damage), Pulso and Nia (reward precise aim in a 1v1).
🎯TrainingPractice
Win condition: None — it's a pressure-free range against three dummies to learn the controls, test a Super, and warm up your aim.
Tactics
Use it to test a fighter before you spend coins unlocking them — every fighter is playable here.
Practice leading your shots on moving dummies; hitting a moving target is the single biggest skill jump in the game.
Learn exactly how far and wide each Super reaches, so you never misjudge it in a real match.
Best use: try the advanced fighters — Sombra, Brasa, Pulso — here first, since their high skill ceiling punishes learning on the fly in ranked play.
