Game Modes Guide

How to win every mode in Arena Blast — win conditions, tactics & the best fighters

Arena Blast has nine core game modes, and each one rewards a different playstyle. A fighter who dominates a 1-life Battle Royale can flounder in a respawn-heavy Deathmatch, and the right Super timing changes completely between holding an objective and surviving an endless Horde. This guide breaks down every mode: what you need to do to win, the tactics that actually move the needle, and which of the 10 fighters suit it best.

New to the controls? Start with the How to Play guide. Want the fighters ranked head-to-head? See the Tier List. Then jump into a mode below.

⚔️Battle10 players · 1 life
Win condition: Be the last fighter standing. You and nine others drop in with a single life while a toxic storm slowly closes the arena.

Tactics

Best fighters: Medika (out-of-combat regen keeps you topped up between fights), Rocco (pick off weakened players from range), Zippy (mobility to dodge the storm and reposition).

☢️Royale100 players · 1 life
Win condition: Survive to #1 on a giant map with 100 fighters, one life each, and an aggressive toxic storm forcing everyone together.

Tactics

Best fighters: Rocco and Nia (long range punishes players fleeing the storm), Brasa or Bolt (area Supers clear the packed endgame).

💎Gem RushObjective
Win condition: Collect 10 gems and hold them for a 10-second countdown. Get knocked out and you drop your gems for everyone to grab.

Tactics

Best fighters: Frost (Frost Ring's shield protects the carrier through the countdown), Tanko (huge HP pool to hold gems under fire), Medika (self-heal resets a contested finish).

🤝3v3 Team Battle3 vs 3
Win condition: You and two allies against an enemy team — coordinate to wipe them out. There are no respawns: once you are down you stay down, so the team that trades better wins.

Tactics

Best team: a frontline Tanko to soak damage, Medika for sustain, and a ranged threat like Nia or Frost to control the fight.

👑King of the HillObjective
Win condition: Hold the central ring uncontested until your control bar fills. If an enemy steps inside, the ring shows ⚔️ and your bar freezes until you clear them out.

Tactics

Best fighters: Frost (Frost Ring clears the point and shields you on it), Tanko (out-tanks anyone trying to contest), Medika (regenerates through the pressure of holding).

🌊HordeSurvival · waves
Win condition: Survive endless waves of respawning enemies and reach 20 knockouts without dying. One death ends the run.

Tactics

Best fighters: Medika (regen + self-heal Super make her the premier survival pick), Bolt (Lightning Nova clears a crowd), Brasa and Nia (Fire Nova and Piercing Shot delete stacked-up waves).

💀DeathmatchFree-for-all · 90s
Win condition: Score the most knockouts in 90 seconds of free-for-all respawn combat. A live Top-3 leaderboard shows who's ahead.

Tactics

Best fighters: Sombra (fast burst to clean up weakened targets), Rocco and Brasa (high burst damage), Zippy (speed to reach every fresh fight first).

🏆Tournament1v1 · 3 rounds
Win condition: Win three 1v1 duels in a row, with a tougher opponent each round. Lose one and the run ends.

Tactics

Best fighters: Rocco (the strongest all-round duelist — tanky and high damage), Pulso and Nia (reward precise aim in a 1v1).

🎯TrainingPractice
Win condition: None — it's a pressure-free range against three dummies to learn the controls, test a Super, and warm up your aim.

Tactics

Best use: try the advanced fighters — Sombra, Brasa, Pulso — here first, since their high skill ceiling punishes learning on the fly in ranked play.
