Unlike most of the roster, Pulso's 26-damage volley is not a best-case figure โ€” both bolts stay on target all the way out to the edge of his reach, which is how far a bolt flies before it fades.

The accuracy fighter

Most of Arena Blast's multi-shot fighters flatter themselves. Bolt, Frost, Brasa and Tanko all advertise a volley total you can only collect at spitting distance, because their pellets fan apart and the outer ones sail past. Pulso does not. His two bolts leave the barrel almost parallel โ€” the tightest cone among the seven fighters who fire more than one projectile โ€” and both still land at the limit of his range.

26 damage every 0.3 seconds is only fourth on the roster for raw output, behind Brasa, Bolt and Frost โ€” but those three quote their best case and Pulso quotes his average. Add the fourth-longest reach in the game and you have a fighter who quietly wins trades his opponent thinks are going fine.

105 HP is not "balanced"

He gets sold as an all-rounder with no weaknesses. He has one, and it is printed on his health bar. 105 sits below the roster average of 107.5, and Tanko (165), Rocco (130), Medika (115) and Frost (110) all outlast him in a straight exchange. Rocco kills him in three shots, Tanko in three volleys; Pulso needs five and seven back. Both fights are settled before they start, by whose range they happen at โ€” and mid-range is his. Far enough out that Brasa and Tanko cannot touch him, close enough in that Nia and Rocco have to lead their shots against a strafing target.

Pulsar Wave: 20 bolts and four seconds of daylight

๐ŸŒ€ Super
Pulsar Wave
Twenty bolts fire outward at once in a complete circle โ€” more projectiles than any other Super in Arena Blast, ahead of Brasa's 18-flame Fire Nova and Frost's 16-shot Frost Ring โ€” and Pulso keeps a burst of speed for four seconds afterwards.

The two halves solve different problems. The circle means nobody near you is safe whatever angle they came from โ€” a legitimate panic button when a fight has gone wrong. The boost is the half people waste: for four seconds it multiplies his movement by 1.5, putting him at 360, comfortably above Zippy's 300 base speed. Enough to run a gem lead out of a losing scrap or beat the storm to the next circle.

Charging it is where the accuracy pays a second time. The bar climbs off damage you deal โ€” nearly half of it per 100 landed โ€” plus 15% per knockout, so nine complete volleys fills it, or eight and a finish.

What he is genuinely good at

Where he loses

Reading the roster

Against Nia, never duel in the open โ€” her shots carry twice as far as yours and hit for 36. Reach your range through cover and four volleys ends her. Brasa is a race you should win: four connecting volleys each way, except yours land from a distance where hers do not, so retreat while firing. Zippy and Sombra are the awkward ones โ€” faster than you, and far easier to miss with two bolts than with a five-pellet spray. Medika takes five uninterrupted volleys; her regeneration beats anyone who trades and then pauses.

Where he earns his 500 coins

๐Ÿ’ก The habit that separates good Pulso players from the rest: stop shooting while you reposition. His volley is only worth 26 when both bolts land, and firing mid-panic while backpedalling is how the most accurate fighter in the game ends up doing sniper damage without the range.

Unlocking Pulso

At 500 coins he is the most expensive fighter in the shop โ€” and since gems buy any fighter for a flat 90, he is the best thing to spend them on. Otherwise he is the last name on the Reward Road, free at account level 40, and his three alternate colourways cost 80, 140 and 150 coins. In Training, find the distance where your bolts still land but a Brasa or Tanko cannot reach you. Live there.
